Cleveland Clinic is holding its first Community Wellness Day at the Langston Hughes Center this weekend on Saturday, November 21. This family friendly event offers flu vaccinations in addition to a plethora of health screenings including cholesterol, blood sugar, HIV, vision and bone density testing. There will also be educational presentations about smoking, diabetes, exercising and healthy cooking. Children?s activities are planned to accommodate various family needs and health interests.
When: Saturday, November 21, 2009 from 9 a.m. ? 2 p.m.
Where: Langston Hughes Center at 2390 E. 79th Street, Cleveland, OH 44104.
Who: General audiences, including children.
Why: An opportunity to receive various health screenings and to learn how to lead a healthy lifestyle.
